The App collects and stores the following data:

• UUID (Universally Unique Identifier): A unique identifier assigned to each user's device.
• GPS Coordinates: Location data of the user's device, collected only while the App is in use.

The App does not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any other personally identifiable information. No account or login is required.

3.2. Legal Basis for Data Collection

The legal basis for collecting and processing data as described above is:

• Legitimate Interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): We collect UUID and GPS coordinates to provide location-based services within the App, enhance user experience, and ensure the proper functioning of the App.

4. Purpose of Data Processing

We collect and process data for the following purposes:

• Location-based Services: We use GPS coordinates to show nearby clubs and enable proximity-based voting on queue lengths.
• App Functionality: We use the UUID to enforce voting cooldowns and ensure proper functioning of the App.
• Analytics: We may analyze aggregated and anonymized data to improve the App's performance, enhance user experience, and develop new features.
• Security: We may process data for the detection and prevention of fraudulent activities, abuse, and security breaches.

5. Data Sharing and Transfers

We do not sell or share personal data. Since the App does not collect personally identifiable information, no personal data is transferred to third parties.

We may share aggregated, anonymized, and non-personal data (such as anonymous crowd-level statistics) with third parties in the future. Such data cannot be used to identify individual users.

We may disclose data if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal requests, such as subpoenas, court orders, or government regulations.

6. Data Retention

We retain data collected through the App only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy. Vote data is automatically aggregated and individual votes are not retained beyond what is needed for the averaging window. After the retention period expires, data is securely deleted or anonymized.

8. Third-Party Services

The App uses Google AdMob for displaying advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data in accordance with Google's privacy policy. You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings.

We reserve the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted within the App or on our website. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
